Docklands Studios 

Home to Melbourne’s film sets and several local TV productions, Docklands Studios are a set of sound stages that provide the ultimate in blank canvas venues.

With 5 huge clear-span buildings to choose from the Sound stages are climate-controlled and sound-proofed. Each stage has elephant doors for truck entry and overhead grids that are strong enough to hang a commercial bus.  Stage 1 has a pit that can be flooded and Back-of-house areas that include star rooms, green rooms, offices and a kitchenette. With plenty of space for equipment storage, a secure environment with 24-hour access and Ample parking for set-up and guests.

Stages range from 743m2 to 2300m2 and have high ceilings from 9.7m to 14.7m.

Royal Exhibition Building

This magnificent building is the oldest surviving from the Great Exhibition era that is still operating as an exhibition hall. Standing strong in Carlton Gardens, the Royal Exhibition Building is beautiful inside and out—a true landmark of Melbourne.

Dozens of trade fairs and public expos are held at the REB annually, continuing 135 years of bringing new ideas to Melbourne. It’s also home to gala dinners, fashion shows, community events and so much more. With capacity for up to 2,500 people seated, its is certainly one of the most premium event spaces in Melbourne.

Planet Shakers

Located on City Road in South Melbourne, Planet Shakers is a converted warehouse building, into a phenomenal multi event space. The space includes a large entrance hall and foyer that connects to the auditorium, with the ability to host up to 600 people for a seated dinner, or combine the spaces for a standing event that can host up to 2,000 people.

There are two separate adjoining spaces that can be utilised separately or in conjunction with the other spaces, and allow off street access for easy bump in. The highlight of this space is the state of the art audio visual set up that boost a curved back drop screen, elevated stage, boom camera and live to screen video production suite. Performers change rooms, green rooms, large loading dock and back of house facilities compliment the venue.
